Clean your jewelry gently with a soft cloth and mild soap in warm water. Avoid soaking enamel pieces; wipe them carefully instead. Store each piece separately in a soft pouch to prevent scratches and tangling.

It is best to remove your jewelry before any activity that involves water, chlorine, sweat or salt — all of them dull the shine and can damage enamel or gold plating. Pool chlorine and Red Sea salt water are the two to watch for in the Kingdom.

Apply perfume, oud, lotion and hairspray before you put your jewelry on, and give them a moment to settle. The chemicals in cosmetics discolor metals and dull stones and enamel over time.

Avoid knocking or dropping enamel jewelry, as the surface can chip. Keep enamel away from alcohol-based products and acidic environments, and clean it with a soft, slightly damp cloth only — never with a brush or an ultrasonic cleaner.

18K gold is highly resistant to tarnish thanks to its high gold content. It may lose its polished finish through normal wear; a quick polish with a soft cloth, or a professional clean, restores the luster completely.

We recommend a professional cleaning and inspection once a year, and more often for pieces worn daily. It keeps the shine and, just as importantly, confirms that stones and settings remain secure.

Use a dedicated travel case with individual compartments. Avoid storing several pieces together to prevent scratching, and keep them away from moisture, sunlight and hard surfaces. Fasten chains and lay them flat so they do not tangle in transit.
